Once you earn a crown, you can display it on your blog, on your Facebook wall etc.
On Very Good Recipes, the big world of Food, Cuisine, Cooking and Recipes is divided in many kingdoms for each ingredient, dish, region or country. Food bloggers can earn crowns of the kingdoms they defend by publishing and listing their recipes. The title depends on the number of recipes listed with the tag that corresponds to the kingdom : Squire, Knight, Baron or Baroness, Viscount or Viscountess, Count or Countess, Marquis or Marquise, Duke or Duchess, Prince or Princess, and King or Queen. You need 2 recipes to become Squire, and 2 more recipes for each level. In addition, each kingdom can only have one king or one queen.
If you have a dream of becoming King or Queen (or more modestly Prince or Princess) and adding a beautiful crown to your blog, you just need to register your blog on Very Good Recipes and to list your recipes with tags (with a link to the tag page in your recipes). You can also list your previously published recipes by adding at least one tag and sending me the list of URLs (web address starting with http://) to the recipes.
You will find below the list of existing kingdoms and of the noble food bloggers that wear their crowns. Some kingdoms still have no lords, you can be the first! And of course more kingdoms (for other ingredients and dishes) can be added. Just let me know which ones you would like to see.
